MUSIC

The Land of Lakes Choirboys of Minnesota will perform at 7:30 p.m. today at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. A freewill offering will be taken. The choir also will perform at the 9 a.m. service on Sunday (454-8484).

EVENTS

The Las Vegas Crafters Guild will have a Craft Boutique featuring handmade artisan jewelry, custom clothing, home decor, paper crafts, a bake sale, a used book sale and other items, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. today at Lakes Lutheran Church, 8200 W. Sahara Ave.

The Masjid Ibrahim (Abraham Mosque), formerly known as Masjid Haseebullah, announces the selection of Mubarak Al Mubarak Hassan as the new resident imam (minister/leader) effective July 2. Imam Mubarak will focus on interfaith dialogue and dawah (invitation) to Al Islam, in addition to working towards the building of the new Masjid at the current location, 3799 Edwards Ave. The mosque and Islamic Learning Center will host a July 4th weekend of events featuring prayer at 1 p.m. Friday with a reception forum at 7 p.m; a Muslim Family Matters Day 11 a.m.-3 p.m. July 3; and the program "Freedom of Faith: the Inalienable Right" hosted by Imam Mubarak at 1 p.m. July 4 (395-7013).

SERVICES

St. Bridget Roman Catholic Church, 220 N. 14th St., will have a Mass at 5 p.m. today to conclude the tour of the Relics of St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina at Roman Catholic parishes (384-3382).

Wheels of Destiny Missions Church has relocated from 1780 Betty Lane to its new location at 823 Verde Canyon Drive, Henderson. The mission church, under Sunrise Baptist Church, offers services at 6 p.m. Saturdays (927-5763).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will host a combined Christian Unity Sunday service with Nueva Vida Baptist Church and Eden Presbyterian Church at noon July 4. A potluck will follow the service (732-2052).

The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will host four convention sessions for delegates from Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California July 9-11 in the Burns Arena at Dixie State College in St. George Utah.
