MUSIC

Green Valley Presbyterian Church and University of Nevada, Las Vegas Department of Music present the Incheon City Chorale from Korea in concert at 7:30 p.m. today at the church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. The concert is free (454-8484).

A classical music concert featuring clarinetist F. Gerard Errante and pianist Philip Fortenberry will be presented at 3 p.m. March 7 at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. A goodwill offering will be taken (341-7800).

EVENTS

Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, will have Purim celebrations today and Sunday. The Persian Masquerade: An Evening of Romance and Mystery for Purim will be presented at 7 p.m. today. The event will feature dinner, live music and entertainment, a fortuneteller and cash bar. Costumes are optional. The fee is $36, and the event is for adults only. For reservations, call 254-5110. On Sunday, a Megillah reading will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by a carnival featuring game booths and food. Admission is free.

Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive, will offer fish fries 4-7 p.m. Fridays during Lent. The fee is $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12 (871-1904).

Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will offer soup and sandwich suppers at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays during Lent (735-7655).

Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., will offer the Lenten series "Parables of Jesus" at 6 p.m. Wednesday. A light snack will precede the event at 5 p.m. (732-2052).

SERVICES

A World Day of Prayer worship service will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. The theme of the service is "Let everything that has breath praise God." The service is sponsored by the Las Vegas unit of Church Women United.
