MUSIC

The Peoples Valley Chorus' annual "Do-it-Yourself" presentation of Handel's "Messiah" will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson. The audience will be invited to sing the chorus sections. A gift basket fundraiser also will be included to benefit St. Therese Foundation. A goodwill offering will be accepted (565-5060).

La Luz Del Mundo will have its Grand Holiday Bazaar featuring handcrafted items, holiday home decor, toys, games for children and food, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. today at the church at 2413 Cedar Ave. (860-4382).

St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church and the Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development will present a discussion with the Rev. Richard Rohr 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at the church at 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Rohr is the founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, N.M.
