MUSIC

"Free to Worship '09," a Christian music festival featuring Addison Road and 10 local Christian bands, will be today at the Clark County Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. Doors open at 1 p.m. The festival also will feature family entertainment and food. Tickets are $5 through iTickets.com. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. Proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas (www. freetoworshiplv.com).

Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., presents the concert "Earth Songs," featuring soprano Joan Sobel, accompanied by Laurence Sobel, at 3 p.m. Sept. 27. Admission is free with a "passing of the hat" offering (341-7800).

EVENTS

Wellspring Church of All Nations, 4870 Janell Drive, will have an equipping summit with the Rev. Todd Bailey at 10 a.m. today and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday (631-5027).

St. Anne Catholic Church will have its annual Fun Fair featuring games, contests, prizes, a silent auction, raffle, food, mariachis, live entertainment and more, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Oct. 3 on the church's school grounds at 1813 S. Maryland Parkway (735-0510).

Guardian Angel Cathedral, 336 Cathedral Way, will have its annual Oktoberfest featuring entertainment, food, crafts, raffles and bake sales, noon-8 p.m. Oct. 3 and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 4. Proceeds will benefit the Christmas midnight Mass telecast (735-5241).

SERVICES

B'nai Israel Jewish Fellowship will present High Holy Days services with Rosh Hashana at 10 a.m. today, followed by Yom Kippur at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 and 10 a.m. Sept. 28. Rabbi Mel Hecht will officiate and the cantorial soloist will be David Averbach. The services are free and membership is not required. For reservations and location, call 523-1818.

CLASSES

The Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development, 8072 W. Sahara Ave., will offer a discussion on "Dreams: the Voice of Wisdom" featuring Cathy Pagano at 9:30 a.m. today. The fee is $30. On Sept. 26, a presentation by the Contemplative Outreach of Southern Nevada on the method of centering prayer will be at 9 a.m. The fee is $20. Registration is required for both events (243-4040).
