MUSIC

The Las Vegas Master Singers will present a musical program, "Potpourri," at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Admission is $10 (387-7278).

All Saints' Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Washington Ave., will present a free organ recital by Douglas Bruce, organist of St. Fanz Xavier church in Münchenstein, Switzerland, at 5:30 p.m. March 8 (878-2373).

John Bevere, an international speaker and co-host of "The Messenger" TV programs, will speak at 6 p.m. today, and 10 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday at the Church at South Las Vegas, 3051 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson (617-0657).

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas, 3616 E. Lake Mead Blvd., will have a HUUmanist Forum featuring a screening of "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Separation of Church & State but Were Afraid to Ask" at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. A discussion with moderator Paul LaCombe will follow the screening (437-2404).

The Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development, 8072 W. Sahara Ave., will have a presentation, "Rend Your Hearts and Not Your Garments," by the Rev. Robert Stoecking, pastor of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, at 7 p.m. Thursday (243-4040).

First Baptist Church of the Lakes, 9125 Spring Mountain Road, will have a Spring Carnival featuring games, a bounce house, face painting, food, prizes and other activities 5-7 p.m. March 15. The event is free (982-6056).

The Women of St. Joseph will have their annual St. Joseph's Table featuring baked goods, fruit, vegetables and flowers, which will be blessed, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 15 at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7260 W.
