EVENTS

Destined for Glory World Outreach Ministries presents the annual "Women in Red Conference" today and Sunday. The theme of the conference is "What's in Your Alabaster Box? (Matthew 26:1 and 6:13)". The Women in Red brunch featuring guest speaker evangelist Janet Bronson and a red hat wearing contest will be at 11 a.m. today at Nevada Partners, 710 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Tickets are $34.95 at the door. The free conference with speaker Evangelist Faye McDonnell will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Destined for Glory, 3155 E. Patrick Lane. Attendees are asked to wear red if possible.

Las Vegas Greek Food Festival featuring food, entertainment, Greek gifts, art, clothing, jewelry, a children's entertainment area, church tours and lectures 5-11 p.m. Thursday, 3-11 p.m. Friday, noon-11 p.m. Sept. 20 and noon-10 p.m. Sept. 21 on the grounds of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 El Camino Road, $5 (248-3896).
