MUSIC

Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., will present a family concert featuring classical piano favorites at 3 p.m. Sept. 30. Admission is free, but freewill offerings will be accepted (341-7800).

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University will be offered at the following locations: 4 p.m. Sunday, 6:30 p.m. Monday and Thursday at the Crossing Christian Church, 7950 W. The Ramakrishna-Vedanta Center, 10732 Balsam Creek Road, will have a presentation with Swami Atmavidyananda at 6 p.m. Thursday. The topics will be interfaith understanding, God in nature and Bhakti yoga. The Arati will begin at 5 p.m., and a potluck supper will start at 7 p.m. (646-4889).

The Caring Hearts and Iron Ministry of Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St., will have a fish fry from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 21 (647-3071).

St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 S. El Camino Road, will present its annual Greek Food Festival from 3 to 11 p.m. Friday and Sept. 22 and noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 23. The event will feature Greek dancing, food, shops, drawings, a children's area and other activities. Northpointe Community Church's J.O.Y. Ministry will have its Ladies Prayer Breakfast at 10 a.m. Sept. 22 at Sun City Aliante Community Center, 7394 Aliante Parkway, Social Hall B. Nevada Desert Experience, the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada and Pace e Bene will have the Ediger Celebration of Active Nonviolence community event from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Islamic Society of Nevada, 4730 E. Desert Inn Road. The event will feature discussions, music, food and other activities. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is suggested. SERVICES

South Hills Church, 9220 Manhattan Road, Henderson, is participating in "National Back to Church Sunday" on Sunday and will have services at 9 and 11 a.m. (616-6700).

King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery will have its annual community Kever Dorot memorial services on Sept. 23 at the following locations: 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. North; 1 p.m. at Palm Memorial Park Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.; and 1 p.m. at King David Memorial Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Rabbis and cantors from several Southern Nevada synagogues will conduct the services (464-8570).

CLASSES

St. Joseph's Catholic Church will offer a Catholic Bible study and church history class at 6 p.m. Wednesdays in the Parish Hall, 131 N. Ninth St. The first class is Sept. 26 (384-1223).

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, offers a free reading program for all ages from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays (565-0071).

SINGLES GROUPS

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, Temple Sinai and Congregation Ner Tamid offer a variety of programs for Jewish singles of all ages in Las Vegas and Henderson. For details, call the Jewish Community Center at 794-0090, Temple Sinai at 254-5110 or Congregation Ner Tamid at 733-6292.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors a singles group for people 45 and older (804-8365, ext. 7333).
