EVENTS

Holy Trinity AME Church, 700 Lola Ave., North Las Vegas, will host its Women's Day Celebration with guest speaker the Rev. Yolanda Silver, of St. Paul AME Church in Hughes, Ark., at 10 a.m. Sunday. Lunch will follow the service (877-0790).

Hadassah Aviva, a local chapter of the Women's Zionist Organization of America, will celebrate the organization's 100th birthday with guest speaker Mayor Carolyn Goodman at 1 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center, 9001 Hillpointe Road. SERVICES

Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St., will celebrate its 66th anniversary during services at 8 and 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday. The theme for the celebration is "Transformation - One Life at a Time." The Rev. Robert E. Fowler Sr. of Victory Baptist Church and his congregation will be in attendance (647-3071).

South Hills Church, 9220 Manhattan Road, Henderson, is participating in "National Back to Church Sunday" on Sept. 16 and will have services at 9 and 11 a.m. (616-6700).

King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery will have its annual communitywide Kever Dorot memorial services on Sept. 23 at the following locations: 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. North; 1 p.m. at Palm Memorial Park Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.; and 1 p.m. at King David Memorial Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Rabbis and cantors from several Southern Nevada synagogues will conduct the services (464-8570).

MEETINGS

The Sathya Sai Baba Devotional Singing Group meets at 5 p.m. Sundays at 1128 Triumph Court (461-8655).

CLASSES
