MUSIC

EVENTS

Community Baptist Church, 245 E. Foster Ave., Henderson, will have a Christian Growth Workshop from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and with services and preaching at 10 a.m. Sunday. The theme of the workshop is "Praise Ye the Lord." For more information, call 565-0071.

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew chapter of Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway, will host a father and son breakfast in honor of Father's Day at 8:30 a.m. today. The event is open to fathers and sons of all Episcopal churches.

Calvary Community Assembly of God, 2900 N. Torrey Pines Drive, will offer a summer food service program from 1 to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays through Aug. 28. Lunches will be served free of charge to children ages 2 to 18. The food service program is open to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, gender or disability. Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave., will offer four Upward Sports indoor sports/cheer/enrichment summer camps. Soccer camps will be held June 25-29 and July 23-27 with Cheer camps offered July 9-13 and July 16-20. Enrichment camps will be offered on the same days as the sports camps.
