Disneyland increases admission to $96

ANAHEIM, California — The price of a ticket at Disneyland is creeping closer to triple-digits.
A single-day ticket for either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park is now $96 for those 10 and up.
The $4 hike — a 4 percent increase — went into effect Sunday and is about the same as previous boosts, which usually happen about once a year. Single-day ticket prices have more than doubled since 2003.
The cost for annual passes went up too.
Here are the increases:
- Single-day ticket, $96, a 4 percent increase. Prices have been raised in August 2010, June 2011, May 2012 and June 2013. If Disneyland raises the entry price by another 4 percent next year, it will reach the $100-per-ticket mark.
- Deluxe Annual Passport, $519, up 4 percent
- Premium Annual Passport, $699, up 4 percent
- One-day “park hopper” pass, $150, up 4 percent
- Parking, $17, a $1 increase
A Disneyland statement says the price hikes were brought on by a variety of factors, but the tickets represent a great value given the breadth and quality of attractions and entertainment at the parks.
