What’s going on outside?

Sure, the weather in Southern Nevada doesn't change as much as it does in other parts of the country. But when desert winds kick up, thunderstorms arrive or a break in summer's triple-digit temps is coming, we want to know about it.
That's where the 5-Day Wireless Weather Forecaster can come in handy. The unit -- a magnet on the back lets you stick it onto your fridge -- gives you real-time weather reports via radio signals from AccuWeather.
Five full days' worth of weather are displayed using the same pictorial icons you see on TV forecasts, with no wiring or computer connection needed.
The unit automatically recognizes where you are, too. And, for an optional monthly fee, you can keep tabs on the weather in an additional city -- a vacation home or business destination, for instance -- that's not in your own home area.
The 5-Day Wireless Weather Forecaster retails for $85 and is available at Brookstone, which has stores at Fashion Show and Boulevard malls, The Venetian, the Forum Shops at Caesars and McCarran International Airport.
