The Clark County coroner’s office has released the identity of the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon.

Nicholas Turnbull, 28, was killed when his 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle crashed into an SUV at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Christy Lane, near Nellis Boulevard. He died of blunt chest trauma, the coroner’s office said.

Turnbull was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Lake Mead about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. When the SUV’s driver turned left onto Christy Lane from Lake Mead’s westbound lanes, Turnbull hit the vehicle.
