CCSD experiencing issue with internet connection on Monday

Updated October 28, 2024 - 1:29 pm

The Clark County School District is experiencing an issue with its internet connectivity on Monday.

“We are currently experiencing problems with the District’s Internet connection. Staff and vendor support engineers are working to resolve the problem as promptly as possible,” the district said in a statement Monday afternoon.

The exact reason for the issues is unclear at this time. CCSD gets internet service through Cox Communications.

“It is beyond CCSD and even beyond Cox. Connectivity is intermittent making it difficult to get work done but I can’t fault CCSD or anyone there for this one,” CCSD Technology employee Hunter Nolen wrote in a message to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The district said that it would make another announcement when the issue is resolved.
