Crowding forces 10 Clark County schools into year-round schedules

Students at 10 Clark County public schools will be forced into year-round schedules starting this fall as a result of crowding at those campuses, according to an announcement Thursday by Clark County School District Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky.

School board members broke law but won’t be punished

The Nevada Commission on Ethics unanimously reached a settlement Wednesday with four Clark County School Board members and two former School Board members agreeing that each board member broke state law by spending taxpayer resources on campaigning. But they will receive no punishment.
