Council OKs expansion of Henderson city limits

Nevada’s second largest city continues to expand, this time by more than 53 acres.

The Henderson City Council approved extending city limits by annexing approximately 35 acres northeast of Las Vegas Boulevard South and St. Rose Parkway. It was an agreement between the city and Western Henderson, LLC.

City officials also annexed more than 18 acres in west Henderson northeast of Las Vegas Boulevard South and the Sloan Interchange. The agreement was made between the city and LV BLVD Pacific LLC, a Nevada limited liability company.
