1,200 customers still without power

1,200 people are still without power after an outage shortly after 1 p.m.

According to NV Energy, the power outage occurred at 1:08 p.m. near Spencer Street and Flamingo Road, knocking out power to roughly 1,400 customers.

Crews have restored power to about 200 customers, and are still working to restore power to those still without power, NV Energy said.

The exact cause of the outage was still unknown, but NV Energy does not believe it to be weather related.
