SILVERTON TO HOST FOODIE FEST

The Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, plans to host the Las Vegas Foodie Fest from noon to 11 p.m. April 28 and noon to 9 p.m. April 29.

Admission is $7 in advance at lasvegasfoodiefest.com and $10 the day of the event. Children under 54 inches tall will be admitted free.

The festival is set to feature more than 30 gourmet food trucks, 15 food booths, a beer garden, farmers market, carnival rides and live entertainment. SEASONS BUFFET ANNOUNCES APRIL DINING SPECIALS AT SILVERTON

The Seasons Buffet at the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, is offering dining specials this month.

Silverton Rewards Club cardholders can receive lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for $9.99 ($10.99 without a card) and dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. for $13.99 ($15.99 without a card) Mondays through Wednesdays and Fridays.

On Thursdays, a themed dinner is planned from 4 to 9 p.m. for Polynesian Night, and guests with a card can eat for $19.99 ($21.99 without a card).

On Saturdays and Sundays, brunch is $17.99 with a card ($19.99 without) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner is $13.99 with a card ($15.99 without) from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturdays and 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays.

GORDON BIERSCH BREWERY ANNOUNCES SEASONAL MENU

Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant recently launched a seasonal menu that will be available through May 13 to complement the limited-time-only Maibock beer. The new spring menu includes roasted vegetable flatbread, grilled chicken with herbed cream sauce, garden turkey burger, panko-dusted salmon, fresh spring salad, boutique burger and chocolate mousse cupcake.

YOSCREAM, LEONÉ CAFÉ ANNOUNCE APRIL DINING PROMOTIONS

YoScream at Tivoli Village, 430 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 190, is offering all-you-can-eat frozen yogurt from 1 to 9 p.m. Sundays in April. Kids Day is from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, when children 12 or younger can receive a small ice cream or frozen yogurt for 99 cents. Two for Tuesdays is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, when self-serve frozen yogurt is buy one, get one free.

Leoné Café at Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 165, is hosting coffee for a cure from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays in April. For every large coffee or espresso purchase, 25 cents will go to the UC San Diego Nevada Cancer Institute. Weekdays after 5 p.m., patrons can receive 50 percent off pastries.

Teacher appreciation offers will be available through May 8. At YoScream, Clark County School District teachers will receive $1 off frozen yogurt or gelato when they show their school district ID. At Leoné Café, teachers will receive 30 percent off their entire purchase.

BIG DOG BREWING CO. PLANS PEACE, LOVE & HOPPY-NESS BEER FESTIVAL

Big Dog Brewing Co. plans to host its annual Peace, Love & Hoppy-ness Beer and Music Festival from 2 to 9 p.m. April 28 at Big Dog's Draft House, 4543 N. Rancho Drive.

Admission is free for those 21 or older. Live music is planned along with more than 35 beers to taste, food and raffles. Big Dog's Tangerine Wit will be tapped, with $1 from every pint sold going to the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation.

The commemorative Peace, Love & Hoppy-ness pint glass will be required for tastings and is $5. Beer token packages also will be available for purchase.

The live music lineup is set to feature Exit 12 at 2 p.m. and DNA at 6 p.m., with an after party inside at 9 p.m. with Okay Jim.

TEQUILA LAUNCH PARTY COMING APRIL 27 TO CASA FUENTE

Casa Fuente inside The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host a launch party and tasting for Milagro UNICO Tequila Joven from 5 to 7 p.m. April 27.

Milagro Tequila founders Daniel Schneeweiss and Moises "Moy" Guindi will be on hand, along with brand ambassador Gaston Martinez. The tequila is limited to 1,000 bottles.

LAGASSE'S STADIUM ANNOUNCES FOOTBALL DRAFT SPECIALS

Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo, 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to offer food specials to coincide with the annual National Football League draft April 26-28.

Radio personality Mike O'Brian from 96.3 KKLZ is scheduled to broadcast live from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lagasse's. First-round coverage begins at 5 p.m.

Specials are set to include all-beef hot dogs served with chili cheese or Chicago style or Buffalo chicken dog for $6 each; pastrami on rye with pickle spear and french fries for $12; Manhattan clam chowder for $7; pulled pork sliders with fries for $11; and beef and cheddar sliders and fries for $11.

CENTRAL BY MICHEL RICHARD DEBUTS 'ABSINTHE' MENU

Central by Michel Richard at Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to offer a special menu themed around the show "ABSINTHE" for $45 per person.

Guests who choose the special menu will receive $20 off tickets to the show. Any guests who brings an "ABSINTHE" ticket stub to the restaurant will receive 20 percent off dinner or may purchase the specially priced "ABSINTHE" menu.

The menu begins with AbsinTini, a mix of Lucid Absinthe, melon liquor, lime and ginger ale. The first course is bacon and onion tart, deviled eggs or mixed green salad, followed by fried chicken with smashed potatoes, pan-seared salmon with succotash or crab burger with ginger mayo. Dessert is chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce, ice cream, sorbet or Michel's chocolate bar.

BARLEY'S CASINO AND BREWING CO. PLANS BREWFEST MAY 26

Barley's Casino and Brewing Co. plans to host its annual Brewfest from 2 to 8 p.m. May 26 at 4500 W. Sunset Road.

More than a dozen breweries plan to offer beer tastings, including Red Rock German-style lager, Blue Diamond Helles-style lager and Boulder Gold Hefeweizen.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Smoked barbecue will be $5 per item. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Beer 4 Boobs, an organization that provides funding to help fight breast cancer and help those living with the illness.

Tivoli Village, 440 S. Rampart Blvd., plans to host a new weekly farmers market in conjunction with the Fresh52 farmers market from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays beginning Thursday.

The market is sponsored by Desert Companion and will feature fresh produce, libation tastings by Southern Wine & Spirits, local artists, live entertainment, and cooking tips and chef demonstrations, with a new chef and dish featured each week.

TICKETS ON SALE FOR SATURDAY BEER FESTIVAL AT TIVOLI VILLAGE

Advance tickets are on sale for the second annual Great Vegas Festival of Beer, which is planned from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Tivoli Village, 302 S. Rampart Blvd.

The event is presented by Motley Brews and is set to feature more than 150 brews from across the Southwest, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit area nonprofit groups.

Paid ticket holders will be able to access express entry lines. Beer tasting tickets are $27 for presale and $37 at the door, if available. The Brewer's VIP Lounge is $37 presale and $47 at the door. Designated Driver tickets are $15 and are available only at the door.

The ticket cost includes admission, a tasting glass and samples of beer from more than 40 breweries. Food will be available for purchase.

BORDER GRILL PLANS TEQUILA DINNER

Border Grill at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host a Clasé Azul tequila dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

A cocktail and appetizer reception is planned, with a five-course dinner set for 7 p.m. Courses will be paired with Clasé Azul tequila-infused margaritas and a shot of limited edition, ultra-premium Clasé Azul Ultra añejo.

The cost is $85 per person for those with a VIP Club discount and $150 per person for general admission.

Share Our Strength plans to host its 20th annual Taste of the Nation fundraising event from 7 to 9:30 p.m. May 17 at Rain Nightclub in the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road.

A VIP champagne reception is planned for 6 p.m. The event will help raise funds to support SOS's efforts to end childhood hunger in the Las Vegas Valley and across the nation.
