Coroner identifies man crushed by forklift in North Las Vegas

A man who died after being struck by a forklift last week was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as 53-year-old Gustavo Sanchez of Las Vegas.
Sanchez, died accidentally when the forklift caused blunt-force trauma "crushing by heavy weight," the coroner's office said.
North Las Vegas police said last week that on Thursday at 7 p.m. they were dispatched to Rocky Mountain Recycling at 3940 E. Craig Road, near Interstate 15. When they arrived, Sanchez was dead.
Police said no criminal investigation was necessary. They turned the case over to the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
