Coroner identifies man killed Thursday in North Las Vegas shooting

The Clark County coroner’s office has identified a man shot to death early Thursday in North Las Vegas.

Otis Coleman III, 20, of North Las Vegas, died from gunshot wound to his lower left back, the coroner’s office said Monday.

North Las Vegas police were called shortly after midnight Thursday to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard near Lake Mead Boulevard and found Coleman lying on the ground and unresponsive.

He was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.
