GRAPES & HOPS FESTIVAL COMING TO SPRINGS PRESERVE SATURDAY

The third annual Grapes & Hops Festival is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd.

Guests 21 or older can enjoy samples of fine wines, unique beers and food from some of Las Vegas' finest restaurants.

The event will benefit Par for The Cure, a nonprofit group dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research. Afro-Cuban and salsa music by Rick Arroyo and the Latin Percussion Ensemble, along with a silent auction, are planned.

ARIZONA CHARLIE’S DECATUR ANNOUNCES OKTOBERFEST DINING SPECIALS

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, 740 S. Decatur Blvd., is offering Oktoberfest specials through Sunday.
The Sourdough Cafe is offering a bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut and German potato salad or waffle fries from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $6.99 with an ace I PLAY card and $7.77 without a card.
Frisco Market Buffet has German specialties for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. through Thursday and on Sunday and 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday for $7.49 for lunch and $8.99 for dinner with a red, green and orange members card and $8.99 and $10.79 with a blue members card. PROJECT DINNER TABLE SET FOR OCT. 13

The next Project Dinner Table event is set for 3 p.m. Oct. 13 at a private estate and orchard in northwest Las Vegas.
The cost will be $175 and includes six courses paired with cocktails. A donation from the event will benefit Three Square food bank and Helping Hands Surgical Care.

MARTORANO’S TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL PASTA MONTH

Martorano’s at the Rio, 3700 W. Flamingo Road, plans to celebrate National Pasta Month throughout October with a different dish every week.
Through Sunday, the dish is tubetti pasta with fresh San Marzano tomatoes, peas, onions and a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese for $18. Monday through Oct. 14, the dish will be bucatini and cauliflower with pistachios, raisins and fresh garlic, topped with toasted Italian bread crumbs and extra-virgin olive oil for $25. Oct. 15-21, spaghetti and eggplant with San Marzano tomatoes and homemade mozzarella will be $24. CHARMING CHARLIE TO HOST WINE AWAY WEDNESDAYS EVENT AT TIVOLI VILLAGE

Charming Charlie at Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., No. 120, plans to host Wine Away Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in conjunction with Las Vegas Woman Magazine.

Big Dog’s Brewing Co. plans to host DOG-toberfest from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Draft House, 4543 N. Rancho Drive.
More than 50 seasonal brews from around the world will be available, and the tapping of Big Dog’s Chocolate Lab Porter is planned. The Plaza, 1 S. Main St., is scheduled to host the inaugural Beverage Blowout Monday honoring The Modern Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim.

The third annual Fall Beer Festival is scheduled for Oct. 19 and 20 at the Golden Nugget, 129 Fremont St.

Motley Brews and Ballast Point Brewing Co. plan to host the Downtown Brew Festival from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Clark County Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.
More than 40 local and regional breweries will feature more than 150 craft beers for tasting.

Addiction Restaurant has added new items to its menu at Rumor Boutique Hotel, 455 E. Harmon Ave.
