A man died Thursday afternoon after he jumped from a downtown Las Vegas parking garage, police said.

The man jumped from the 10th floor of the garage at 321 S. Casino Center Blvd. about 1:30 p.m., Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Larry Hadfield said. The man died at the scene.

Casino Center was closed while police worked the scene.
