weekly FOLK DANCING LESSONS
PLANNED WEDNESDAY at arts center

The Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St., plans to host folk dancing lessons from Ethnic Express International Folk Dancing from
6:30 to 8:45 p.m. each Wednesday beginning this week.

Participants can learn various styles of dance, including Armenian, Israeli, Russian, Greek, Chinese and more. The cost is $4 per person.

HEALTH FORuM SET SATURDAY
AT WEST LAS VEGAS LIBRARY

Black Image magazine and the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District plan to host a health forum series from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the West Las Vegas Library, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.

The event is set to feature doctors, speakers and health experts who plan to discuss various topics, ranging from high rates of diseases in minorities to medications .

CITY POOLS TO HOST SPIRIT SPLASH NIGHT

A free Spirit Splash Night is set from 6 to 8 p.m. July 25 at various public pools.

The event is open to all novice team participants in the city's recreational competitive water polo, synchronized swimming, diving and swim teams .

FREE screening of 'THE WIZARD OF OZ' set

Las Vegas City Councilman Bob Coffin is set to host Ward 3's free movie in the park at 7 p.m. Friday at Huntridge Circle Park, 1251 S. Maryland Parkway.

Children's activities are slated to begin at 7 p.m., followed by an 8 p.m. screening of "The Wizard of Oz."

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs.

ART CLASS PLANNED FRIDAY FOR KIDS
