Take Me home

I am a timeless beauty with a cheery, sunny nature. But at 11 years of age, many people dismiss me outright, and all I want is someone I can love with all my heart. I am Sheba, a bright-eyed Pomeranian, spayed, and delightful with people and dogs.

The Nevada SPCA is a no-kill animal sanctuary at 4800 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas. For more information, visit nevadaspca.org or call 873-7722.

Roscoe

The Animal foundation

Roscoe (ID No. A540799) is a 4-year-old, 66-pound blue merle Australian shepherd. He s a little cautious around people when he first meets them, but he warms up the minute you toss a tennis ball for him. He walks on a leash like a dream, has a wonderful disposition with everyone he meets and knows how to sit! His previous owners informed us that he is potty-trained and great with cats, too!

Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at 655 N. Mojave Road, Las Vegas. For more information, call 384-3333.

Trisha

Las Vegas Valley Humane Society

Two-year-old Trisha was rescued from the streets as a kitten and adopted out with her sister. A year later, the girls were returned to the LVVHS when their parents became ill. Trisha s sister was adopted, so now it s Trisha s turn! She is talkative and purrs constantly. Trisha also loves gentle belly rubs and likes to sleep at the foot of your bed. Trisha is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society rescues and rehabilitates homeless animals. For more information, call 434-2009 or visit lvvhumane.org.

Lani

Paws 4 Love

I was found in a feral colony, but I am very tame. I am between 1 and 2 years old. I do well with other cats and am OK with dogs, although I hide when they bark. I am a loving girl and really should never have been outside. I have been blood tested (negative), vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. You can see me on Saturdays at PetSmart, 531 N. Stephanie St.
