Updated January 18, 2021 - 10:40 am

An east Las Vegas home was badly damaged by fire early Monday.

Clark County firefighters were called about 6:50 a.m. to the home at 3516 Edison Ave., near Desert Inn and Pecos roads, according to Assistant Fire Chief Scott Carnahan.

Arriving firefighters battled a fire in a backyard shed that had spread to the house, Carnahan said. The fire was extinguished at 7:20 a.m., he said.

No injuries were reported.
