Fire causes $100,000 damage to southwest valley home

A Saturday night fire at a home in the southwest valley caused $100,000 in damage, the Clark County Fire Department said Sunday.

Shortly after 10 p.m., firefighters responded to a single-story home at 10606 Eagles Nest St. , near Cactus Avenue and Southern Highlands Parkway.

The fire damaged the home's two-car garage and its contents, including a vehicle that was of unknown make and model.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No one was injured.
