Four-vehicle accident ties up I-15 traffic
A four-vehicle crash that closed a lane of Interstate 15 at Washington Avenue Tuesday morning has been cleared.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded about 6:50 a.m. to the accident, which blocked the left lane of southbound I-15, north of U.S. Highway 95.
The shoulder was closed on that length of the freeway because of construction, NHP spokesman Jeremie Elliott said. Traffic was tied up for at least a half-hour until a tow truck arrived.
The accident was cleared before 10 a.m. No one was injured in the crash.
