Henderson offers trick-or-treating option

Trunk or Treat, Henderson's safe trick-or-treating event, is scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 at Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Road.

Admission is $2 per youth or teen, and participants will receive a wristband enabling them to join in carnival-style games and activities. Parents may accompany children for free.

The annual event includes an outdoor trick-or-treat trail where treats will be passed out from the trunks of festively decorated cars. It also features entertainment, carnival games, bounce houses and a Halloween costume contest. A variety of food concessions will be available for purchase.
