Man, 35, dies in house fire in southeast valley

The Clark County Fire Department is investigating a fatal fire in the southeast valley Friday.
The fire in a single-story building behind a home on the 4900 block of Pearlite Avenue, near Tropicana Avenue and U.S. Highway 95, was reported at about 3 p.m.
A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Deputy Fire Chief Ken Morgan said firefighters found the man unconscious in the home .
The cause of the fire, which did roughly $20,000 in damage, is still under investigation. The name of the victim was not released.
