A man is in critical condition after a moped accident Monday morning in North Las Vegas.
The man was northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard North, between Owens Avenue and Lake Mead Boulevard, about 7:30 a.m. when he lost control of the moped and went down, North Las Vegas police said. The driver was not wearing a helmet.
He was transported to University Medical Center with significant head trauma.
