Man involved in February crash dies from injuries

A 64-year-old man died Wednesday from injuries suffered in a car crash last month, North Las Vegas police said Thursday.

The Clark County coroner's office could not provide identification of the man Thursday afternoon.

Police said the rollover crash occurred at 10:48 a.m. on Feb. 16, near Craig Road and Clayton Street.

Police said a 51-year-old Las Vegas woman was driving a 2005 Hyundai Elantra east on Craig. Her husband was in the passenger seat. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver experienced a medical episode and lost control. The vehicle struck the center median, rolled once and came to rest on its roof. Both occupants were transported to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The driver recovered from her injuries and was released from the hospital the next day.
