Man killed in head-on crash identified

A 24-year-old man was killed Sunday night in the southwest valley after a head-on car crash involving a suspected drunken driver.

The Clark County coroner's office identified the man as Tyson Wade Diver. Diver's city of residence was unknown.

Las Vegas police said Diver was driving a 2004 Ford Mustang north on Rainbow Boulevard near Wigwam Avenue about 8:45 p.m. when his vehicle collided with a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner that crossed the center line.

A 17-year-old girl driving a 2011 Honda Pilot then crashed into the Toyota. The girl, who was not identified, received minor injuries.

The driver of the Toyota, 33-year-old Veronica Arana, was arrested on a charge of DUI resulting in death.

Arana received moderate injuries, police said.
