Las Vegas police said the operator of a Honda motorcycle heading west on Alexander Road struck a 2004 Kia minivan driven by Judith Michaels, 68.

Michaels, police said, was traveling north on Torrey Pines. She entered the intersection after stopping at a traffic sign. The unidentified motorcyclist lost control of the Honda before striking the Kia, according to police.
