Firefighters battled a blaze at the The Original Pancake House in the central valley Friday morning.
The restaurant at 4833 W. Charleston Blvd., near Decatur Boulevard, caught on fire about 3 a.m., according to the Las Vegas Fire Department.
Spokesman Tim Szymanski said there was heavy smoke and the blaze was difficult to contain. The roof collapsed about 4 a.m.
The fire likely started in the attic, Szymanski said. It may take several weeks for investigators to determine the cause of the blaze. A damage estimate was not released.
