A central valley apartment fire left almost 50 people homeless Thursday night and injured four, including one woman with severe burns to her right arm.
The Clark County coroner has identified the 50-year-old man struck and killed by a car on Boulder Highway late Tuesday night as Frank Harry Martini.
All around the valley, fire officials are calling Wednesday’s Fourth of July relatively uneventful, with Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman Tim Szymanski calling it the “calmest” in the past 16 years.
A parade, fireworks and plenty of other Independence Day celebrations are taking place across the valley today.
Workers from the New York-based Fireworks by Grucci were hard at work Tuesday building four identical fireworks shows presented by Station Casinos across the valley.
