Las Vegas flirts with triple digits, settles for record 99

It reached 99 degrees Sunday in Las Vegas, a record high for April 22, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday’s temperature beat the previous high temperature for the date set in 1939, when it hit 97 degrees.
