Parts of the valley see more storms after a rainy night
More storms have come through Southern Nevada after a thunderous night.
Earlier this afternoon, a strong storm dumped at least an inch of rain in less than an hour near the Mountains Edge subdivision in the southwest part of the valley. Roads affected in that area included Highway 160 and Rainbow and Decatur boulevards.
A flash flood warning had been issued for the area. A flash flood advisory for Clark County expired at 5:30 p.m.
Also, a few storms hit Mount Charleston and the Spring Mountains this morning. Parts of the Las Vegas Valley saw some measurable rain very early this morning, including the northeast, Centennial Hills, Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas.
With the dew point at 60 degrees and relative humidity at nearly 30 percent, chances for thunderstorms will continue tonight in the valley.
