About 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 300 block of North 16th Street, the release said. Aguero-Alvarez is being held in the Clark County Detention Center where he faces a charge of murder with a deadly weapon and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, the release said.
Metro said this is the 35th homicide the department has investigated in 2016. No more details were immediately available.
