Sewer work to close Nellis, Desert Inn intersection

The intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Desert Inn Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Nov. 5 as Clark County Water Reclamation District crews replace sewer lines and manholes.

Right turns will be allowed to detour traffic around the intersection.

There will also be lane restrictions leading up to and after the full intersection closure:

■ The innermost left lanes will be closed on northbound and southbound Nellis between Desert Inn and Happy Valley Avenue until 11:30 p.m. Nov. 5.

■ The innermost left lanes will be closed on eastbound and westbound Desert Inn on both sides of the intersection at Nellis until 11:30 p.m. Nov. 9.

■ From 9 p.m. Monday through 5 a.m. today, traffic on northbound Nellis, between Desert Inn and Happy Valley, will be reduced to one lane.
