Woman dies after two-vehicle crash in North Las Vegas
A woman died after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon near Ann Road and Allen Lane, North Las Vegas police said.
The identity of the woman has not been released.
Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said the crash involved a sport utility vehicle and a car. The crash occurred about 3:15 p.m.
Coon said a 19-year-old man was driving a Dodge Durango east on Ann while the unidentified woman was driving a Toyota Camry north on Allen.
Coon said the driver of the Durango ran a red light, according to witnesses, and struck the Camry on its driver's side. The woman driving the Camry died at the scene.
The driver of the Durango voluntarily submitted to a blood draw, Coon said. The investigation is ongoing.
