Woman killed in North Las Vegas accident
A 38-year-old woman was killed Monday night after she rolled her vehicle in a gravel pit.
North Las Vegas police said the woman, whose name will be released by the Clark County coroner's office, rolled her vehicle in the 8100 block of Aliante Parkway near Grand Teton Drive.
Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said the woman was thrown from the car. She died several hours later at University Medical Center.
Coon said it's unknown whether speed or alcohol were factors.
