3 hospitalized after rollover near Primm

Three people were hospitalized after their car rolled over on northbound Interstate 15 near Primm Wednesday morning, officials say.

The interstate was closed temporarily just after 5:30 a.m., so that a helicopter could land to take a woman in critical condition to University Medical Center's trauma unit, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jason Buratczuk said.

One lane remained closed at 8:45 a.m., and traffic appears to be flowing smoothly, cameras show.

Two others passengers in the crashed Nissan sedan were taken by ambulance to UMC, Buratczuk said.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
