Boy, 1, flown to Vegas hospital dies

KINGMAN, Ariz. — Arizona police are investigating the death of a 1-year-old boy, who died from unknown causes at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas early Thursday.

Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the boy’s parents brought him to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. She said he was flown to Sunrise where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

She said an autopsy will be performed Friday.

No further information was immediately available.
