Man dies in possible Henderson hit-and-run

A 61-year-old man died early Saturday morning after a possible hit-and-run, according to the Henderson Police Department.

The man was found lying in the road in a right-turn lane on the north side of Galleria Drive, near Gibson Road, about 1:30 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after attempts were made to save his life.

The Clark County coroner’s office will release the man’s identity and his cause of death after next of kin has been notified.

Galleria Drive was closed about three hours while police investigated.
