2 pedestrians injured in hit-and-run in North Las Vegas

Updated September 7, 2017 - 6:09 pm

North Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in finding a car involved in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night.

Officers said a black 1990s model Cadillac sedan was heading north on Civic Center Drive near Gowan Road about 9:50 p.m. The car jumped the curb and hit three men — ages 19, 20 and 21 — who were walking on the sidewalk, North Las Vegas Police Department said.

Two of the men were hospitalized at University Medical Center, one in critical condition.

The vehicle that struck the pedestrians fled from the scene, police spokesman Eric Leavitt said. The car left eastbound on Gowan.

Police said the car had significant front- and passenger-side damage. Police said the car also left behind a mirror and molding from the right passenger door at the crash site.

North Las Vegas officers urge anybody with information on the Cadillac to call police at 702-633-9111 or 702-385-5555 to remain anonymous.
