North Las Vegas Fire Department fights manure fire

Firefighters responded about 4:20 p.m. to a manure pile fire at R.C. Farms, a former pig farm near North Fifth Street and East Ann Road, North Las Vegas Fire Department said.
Crews were expected to work “for a while,” the Fire Department tweeted.

The Fire Department temporarily advised neighbors to stay inside but have since said it’s OK to leave the house.
A cause wasn’t known.
