Temperatures expected to increase by end of week in Las Vegas Valley
Temperatures in the Las Vegas Valley are expected to stay slightly below average until midweek, the National Weather Service said.
Monday’s forecast high of 65 degrees is shy of the normal 70-degree high for this time of year. Tuesday’s high is expected to reach 69. Lows for both days are expected in the mid-40s. Skies should be mostly sunny Monday with more cloud cover rolling in Tuesday.
Wednesday will bring a forecast high of 71 with overcast skies and a 30 percent chance of rain in the morning. Rain chances will increase to 50 percent that night.
Winds will start to whip up Wednesday night, with gusts reaching 20 mph. Thursday has a forecast high of 70, with gusts reaching 30 mph.
Lows for Wednesday and Thursday are in the mid- to high-50s. The normal low this time of year is 50.
