Temps reach into 90s this week in Las Vegas Valley

A high-pressure system will bring the Las Vegas Valley above-average temperatures through the weekend, the National Weather Service said.

Highs through Friday will be in the 90s. The weekend will be slightly cooler with temperatures in the mid- to upper-80s. Lows throughout the week will be in the 60s.

The normal high this time of year is 81 degrees, and the normal low is 58.

The valley will have light winds Tuesday through Thursday, the weather service said. Breezes will be slightly stronger starting Friday and going through the weekend.

Skies will be mostly clear until Sunday, when clouds could linger in the valley, the weather service said.
