This is what Niagara Falls looks like partially frozen — PHOTOS

The White House has been covered in snow, Boston’s wind chill was in the negatives all week, the South is dealing with a strange, stormy edition of winter and now Niagara Falls is the latest casualty of the season’s onslaught.

The Falls didn’t freeze to the point of full solidity yesterday, but a largely frozen portion drew extra crowds.

“The attention the falls is receiving is bringing a crowd to view them in their majestic, winter splendor,” a spokeswoman for the falls told USA Today.

The area hit 13 degrees below zero on Monday, resulting in layers of ice built up on the U.S.-side. The area was back up to 16 degrees by Wednesday morning.
