3 Bishop Gorman players selected to All-America game

The 2018 Under Armour All-America Game will have a Las Vegas flair.

A trio of Bishop Gorman players — quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, tight end Brevin Jordan and offensive guard Jacob Isaia — were selected to participate in the game, it was announced Friday. The trio will receive honorary jerseys during a ceremony in the Bishop Gorman auditorium on Oct. 25.

No Gorman players participated in the game last year, and the only local player was Arbor View defensive tackle Greg Rogers. They are the first players to represent the Gaels since wide receiver Cordell Broadus in 2015.

Thompson-Robinson is rated as the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the country and is committed to UCLA. He has thrown 19 touchdowns to three interceptions this year and leads Southern Nevada with 1,756 passing yards.

Jordan is the top-ranked tight end in the nation. The Miami-bound senior has six touchdown and leads Class 4A with 619 receiving yards.

Isaia is the highest rated offensive lineman in the state, and is committed to Michigan State.

The game will be played Jan. 4 in Orlando, Florida.
