BOWLING: Rock rolls Liberty boys into Sunrise final

Terrance Rock rolled a 695 series Wednesday to lead Liberty's boys bowling team to a 7-2 win over Eldorado in a Sunrise Region semifinal at The Orleans.
Liberty had the high series of the day in the Sunrise with a team score of 2,332 and will face Las Vegas in the region final at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Las Vegas was a 9-0 winner over Green Valley in the other semifinal.
In the Sunset Region, Desert Oasis had the high team series with a total of 2,210 on its way to a 7-2 win over Arbor View.
The Diamondbacks face Shadow Ridge in the region final at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Shadow Ridge swept Bishop Gorman, 9-0 in the other semifinal
In Division I-A, Brendan Lindsey rolled a 679 series to help Tech to a 9-0 victory over Clark in a state semifinal.
The Roadrunners face Boulder City in the I-A state final at 3 p.m. Friday.
Boulder City rolled the best team score of the day in Division I-A with a total of 2,356 pins and defeated Sierra Vista, 9-0.
GIRLS
Centennial had the day's high series with a 1,804 and narrowly defeated Shadow Ridge, 5-4 in a Sunset Region semifinal. Shadow Ridge had a team total of 1,775.
The Bulldogs face Arbor View in the region final at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Arbor View advanced with a 9-0 sweep of Palo Verde.
In the Sunrise Region, Valley held off Basic, 7-2 in one semifinal. The Vikings had a total of 1,668 pins, just 11 more than Basic.
Valley will face Foothill in the region final at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The Falcons were 7-2 winners over Silverado.
In Division I-A, Emi Leong rolled a 665 series to help Tech to a 9-0 sweep of Clark in a state semifinal.
The Roadrunners face Boulder City in the state final at 3 p.m. Friday.
Boulder City was a 9-0 winner over Sierra Vista.
